Grant Wagner

Grant Wagner is venture partner at Acuity Tech Solutions, Inc. and has over fifteen years of executive leadership roles in global software companies. He has established and grown multiple, successful sales organizations and is adept at developing go-to-market strategies with associated partner and channel development programs. He has driven sales across a vast array of software solutions including enterprise systems management, business applications, enterprise storage, security, wireless communications and business process management technologies.

Grant has held positions in the Federal sector as Senior Vice President for Worldwide Sales at New Technology Management, Inc (NTMI), a federal government systems integrator specializing in Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Defense (DoD) security solutions; and Senior Vice President of Software Sales at Integic, Inc., a government systems integrator and software vendor acquired by Northrop Grumman Corp. He was also a Managing Director at Corstone Capital Corporation, a private merchant banking and services group that specializes in IT corporate financings, investments, transactions, and services.

As Executive Vice President for Worldwide Sales at OTG Software, Inc., a public storage and content management software company now part of EMC, Grant managed a global sales staff of 100+ located in the US, Germany, UK, China, Japan and the Netherlands. He was also responsible for pre-sales engineering and post sales Professional Services. Under Grant’s leadership revenues for OTG grew from $20M in 1999 to an estimated $90M in 2002.  Grant developed an extensive channel (VAR, distributor, OEM, systems integrators and direct sales) that was essential to OTG’s sales growth.  Grant was also a key member of the executive team participating and directing various sales, marketing, business development, product development, IPO, and acquisition strategies. Mr Wagner was responsible for, and met or exceeded, every published quarterly and annual revenue projection from the time of OTG’s IPO until its acquisition.

Prior to OTG, Grant served for nine years in numerous sales and management positions at Computer Associates International, Inc.  In his last position as VP of Global Accounts, Grant was responsible for various resources supporting and driving revenues through CA’s largest partners worldwide.  Under Grant, these partners produced $100-200M of revenue to CA annually; with the largest single enterprise contract during this period exceeding $125M.

Grant graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelors degree in Political Science.  He is an active member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, a member of the Loudoun County, Virginia Republican Committee and serves as advisor to several private technology companies in the northern Virginia technology community.
