 Michael J. Del Rosso
Michael Del Rosso, an accomplished executive whose career spans 30 years, is President and CEO of Acuity Tech Solutions, Inc.
Michael has a diverse background with broad technical expertise and fundamental design experience in system-of-systems architectures; storage, knowledge, and content management systems design; operating system internals; real-time systems; data communications & telephony; identity management; computer security; critical infrastructure protection; information warfare and cyber-terrorism. He has contributed to Department of Defense information security research projects, has designed and implemented information security products for the commercial, intelligence, and defense marketplaces, and holds an active Department of Defense security clearance.
Previously he was Chief Technology Officer at three public companies: Quantum Corporation, Legato Systems, Inc., and OTG Software, Inc., the latter two now part of EMC, and was founding CTO of iDEFENSE (acquired by VeriSign). He has also held executive management positions at VII, Inc. and served on the board of directors of NFR Security, Inc. (acquired by Check Point Software). For 15 years prior to this he lead a successful consulting company providing expertise in engineering design, strategic planning, product management and marketing to major corporations such as IBM, Control Data, Cheyenne Software, Secure Computing Corporation and Northern Telecom
He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Vice-Chairman of the IEEE-USA Critical Infrastructure Protection Committee (CIPC), 2006 Lincoln Fellow as well as a Research Fellow in National Security Policy at The Claremont Institute and has been a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
